ECCRINE HIDROCYSTOMA OF THE PINNA: A CASE REPORT

Objective: This paper reports a rare cystic lesion of the pinna: eccrine hidrocystoma
Case report: A 57 year old woman who presented with long-standing painless cystic lesion on the right ear lobule was diagnosed as eccrine hidrocystoma on histopathological examination of the excised specimen and confirmed by immunohistochemical analysis.
Conclusion: Eccrine hidrocystomas are very rare cystic lesions of the pinna. Surgical excision is the treatment of choice.
